Despite being known for its crystal clear waters, Cyprus offers a great selection of natural trails for beginner and more experienced hikers alike. Avakas Gorge narrows to a few metres between limestone walls. The Aphrodite and Adonis trails climb through juniper and mastic above the Baths. Further inland, the cedar valley and the Paphos Forest are the greenest part of the island. Akamas is the biggest national park and nature reserve on the island. Some of the options are an easy morning. Some of them need proper shoes, water, and a whole day dedicated to nature.
