Sea Caves and Boat Trips
The sea-caves at Peyia are a dramatic stretch of limestone coast north of Coral Bay: vertical cliffs cut by the sea into caverns, arches, and narrow inlets, with very clear water at their base. The cliff-top viewpoints above are free and easily reached by car. Visitors who want to swim at the caves themselves typically arrange a private boat charter through Annabelle's reception, which the team can tailor to a small group rather than a larger commercial excursion.

The Peyia Sea Caves
The Peyia sea-caves stretch for around five kilometres of coast immediately north of Coral Bay. Geologically, they are limestone formations carved by wave action over hundreds of thousands of years: sea-level cuts, arches, the occasional collapsed-roof "blowhole." The cliff-top above carries low maquis vegetation and quiet clifftop paths.
The viewpoints from the cliff-top are easily accessible by car. Drive north from Coral Bay, follow the signs for Sea Caves, and park at the marked viewpoints. The views down into the caves are dramatic, though swimming at the caves themselves is reached only by boat.

Reaching the Caves by Sea
The most personal way to see the caves from the water is a private boat charter arranged through Annabelle's reception. The team can match a charter to your group's size, pace, and preference, with swimming stops at the caves and at quieter coves along the way. For longer excursions, charters can extend up the Akamas coast toward Lara Bay and the Blue Lagoon. The reception team will also advise on the weather window and the right time of day for the conditions you'd like.

When to Go
The sea-caves are accessible year-round at the cliff-top viewpoints. The sea conditions for boat access are most reliable from late spring through to early autumn. Winter visits to the cliff-top viewpoints work in dry weather.

From Annabelle
The cliff-top viewpoints are around 25 minutes' drive north of the hotel; reception will arrange a private car. For a boat charter, the team handles the arrangement end to end.
The viewpoint visit pairs well with a beach swim at Coral Bay on the way back.
